Nana’s Creekside
I’m Chazmin, the hands, heart, and soil behind Nana’s Creekside Provisions. What started as a simple backyard garden grew into a mission: to feed my family, my neighbors, and my community with real food grown from seed in clean Mississippi soil. Every row, every harvest, and every CSA box reflects years of learning, tending, and a deep love for growing food that matters.
How It Started
Nana’s Creekside began as a small family garden, a place where I learned patience, resilience, and the quiet joy of watching something grow. Over time, that garden became a refuge, a classroom, and eventually a community space.
Friends and neighbors started asking for produce, then for boxes, then for a full CSA. What you see today is the result of years of trial, error, triumph, and a whole lot of heart.
How I Grow
I grow everything from seed, right here in Florence, Mississippi. My approach is simple: clean soil, intentional care, and sustainable practices that respect the land. No shortcuts. No chemicals. Just real food tended by hand and harvested at peak freshness. I focus on seasonal rhythms, soil health, and varieties that thrive in our Mississippi climate — the same food I feed my own family.
Why I Do This
Food is more than something we eat; it’s something that connects us. My goal is to make fresh, honest, Mississippi‑grown produce accessible to families who care about where their food comes from and how it’s grown.
